"It was good and awful at the same time"

date: February 9, 2004

Well, the animation was great. Even though they're stick figures, you shade them really well, and the animation is very smooth. Overall it's very nice to look at.

Unfortunately, It's incredibly painful to listen to. Get some voice actors, seriously. Drag a couple of kids out of the drama department at your nearest high school or community college or SOMETHING, because whoever is voice acting now just isn't cutting it.

You need to seriously write out your plot in a word document before trying to put in in flash. The dialogue is borderline, but fairly acceptable. Just because the plot is a little cliche doesn't mean you should cast it aside entirely. Furthermore, the blue guy had no reason to spare red's life, and turning red into a pansy after about 3 seconds of fighting was a little farfetched.

Another thing about voice acting. Falcetto is not the same thing as yelling. Find some time or a studio where you and your voice actors can belt out the characters' lines without having to worry about being quiet in the house or anything. It just isn't believable when a "NOOOOO!" is said with obvious supression. That kind of interjection needs to be thrown as loudly as humanly possible.

Author's Response:

you make a good point there, actually... the voice acting (and quality) could have been better. i'll see what i can do about that.

"So sad... *sniff*"

Whoa...the holocaust, eh? Puts blamming flashes in a whole different light for me O_O

Makes me kinda feel bad for the flashes...like it's not their fault they suck, they were just made that way. So true, man. So true.

But one thing. You need a preloader in this one. Twice I tried to play it and it wasn't finished loading, so it sent me back to the opening screen. There needs to be a way to regulate when I'm allowed to watch the flash, cause even though it's good, I don't wanna have to watch it unfinished a few times before I finally see the whole thing.

oxxenking, you have yourself a very nice set of remixes and composed pieces here. If you read this, can you send me an email? Or maybe I'll just send you one. Either way, I'd like to get in touch soon, got something to talk about.

"Noteworthy remixes, can you compose?"

submission: -*Eternity*-

You seem to be able to easily hit all the right notes of every song, melody and harmony. Interesting style, too. I notice that you tend to avoid orchestra instruments whenever possible, giving your songs a very techno feel to them.

Do you think you could compose some songs? I'd be very interested in seeing what you could make on your own. I'd be interested in using some of your songs in my works if you could do that.

Author's Response:

i have made a few songs - it takes a long time to create decent originals tho - i usu dont have the time to sit down and do that...

"On the bland side"

date: January 23, 2004

Your mp3's are pretty mediocre overall. I know there's not a whole lot of room for diversity in heavy metal, but surely you could spice up your songs a little more than that. When someone listens to a song, no matter what they're doing, they usually choose a song that fits well in the background. Something that would be missed if it was gone, but does not draw so much attention that it becomes irritating and almost a chore to listen to. Try mixing up your mp3's a little to help improve them in teh future.

Author's Response:

well it did get used fucker
